I am an independent organisational consultant, supervisor and trainer. Originally trained in Social Work, I subsequently qualified as both a Family Therapist and Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, and worked for over 30 years as an Adult Psychotherapist in the N.H.S.
As well as my clinical work, I have extensive experience in training others. I founded the Merseyside Family Therapy Project which offered Family Therapy courses at Introductory and intermediate levels, and went on to become C.E.O. of Merseyside Psychotherapy Institute, a registered charity which offered clinical training in a range of modalities. More recently I was the Course Director for the Merseyside based Tavistock 2 year MA programme “Consultation and the Organisation: Psychoanalytic Approaches” and held the post of the Tavistock Regional Development Officer for Consultancy training.
I am a UKCP approved clinical supervisor, and have supervised individuals and groups in a range of clinical modalities, including Family and systemic psychotherapy, cognitive analytic therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I have extensive experience of working with teams in both statutory and 3rd Sector organisations, offering training, consultation and supervision. For a full bio, please check out my profile on:
